Good advice – for all πŸ™‚

Thanks Eric. I am starting to date again, so I speak to myself. Scary stuff haha. I just sent someone who is an avid reader, not in our blog community, to your site for the Fallen Grace series. He loves space and science so I am sure that he will be fascinated, and I know that he will be intrigued by the spiritual questions that you bring to light. πŸ™‚

Janine dear – all the very best with the dating scene πŸ™‚

Speaking to yourself is okay. It’s when you start arguing with yourself – and worst of all, when you start losing arguments with yourself – that’s when it gets scary. I’ve stopped arguing with myself πŸ™‚

Thank you so very much for directing someone to Fallen Grace – I appreciate this and hope he likes the reads too.

        All good wishes,
        Eric

Good advice Eric. I must say that I still lose arguments with myself all of the time. I can be so closed minded and stubborn sometimes. πŸ™‚

Thank you for writing such great stories for me to read and direct like minded people to. I love the ride with Daniel, always enlightening in so many ways.

        Love and peace to you,
        Janine

Good luck dating..I hope Mr Right is looking for you also x..

    “Soul Mate”
Here in Scotland my soul mate is my Dad.
Different cultures have the same names, different meanings..
But I guess love could mean soul mate, if that person is a very good friend.

May the force be with you πŸ™‚

    • janineyork says:

So kind of you for the wish. πŸ™‚
Yes here in the U.S. “soul mate” means meeting someone with whom you feel romantic and also feel like best friends. Like your souls were created to walk the earth together. I actually think it is rooted in Greek mythology. That one god was afraid of how powerful humans were becoming so he split their souls in half and scattered them around. That we all have a true match to our soul, and we walk the earth hoping to find it. I am going to have to look it up, I don’t remember the name of the author. Anyway, it has eluded me so far, but I am still trying to revive my faith that it does exist. Or some simile of it. You just must be careful to not let loneliness drive you to settle for one or the other. I want both or I will keep searching. I set my goals high, and I don’t mind being alone, so we shall see where this road takes me.

Thanks for the good wishes and the force, I will definitely need it on this journey. Such a huge world and so little time. πŸ™‚

Love and peace to you Shaun,
      Janine

Beautiful story x I had never heard of it..
I think we all find “That Person” from what I gather, no expert, the less we look the quicker we find..

In the meantime, smile, live and be happy, you deserve it..

And hugs and peace back at ya Janine..

        Shaun x

Awww Shaun you are so sweet. I am glad you liked the story. I always did too. It is not mine but it is a great hopeful thought for us all. And it does seem to happen when you least expect it. I am by no means looking, just open to it if it finds me now. πŸ™‚

      • prayingforoneday says:

        Yeah I got that ….
        If it happens, it happens…

        I gotcha πŸ™‚

I liked this post and the photo, too. It is hopeful and positive. Also, taking care with each person you meet that may become more, letting it unfold as it should, no pressure needed. I hope that you will keep the light of hope lit!

It is hard to do, but I am hopeful for your rekindling mentioned on another haiku page! This one is also true, a good friend can become more, but always is nice to have a male friend! (Companions are needed for many occasions, one who you trust!)

  5. Hello. This post was really motivating, particularly because I was browsing for thoughts on this topic last Saturday.

I love feedback, please tell me what you think.
