More than silver! Great shot! 🙂

  2. Wow! Great shot! You caught so much of the bow. 🙂 And your title and telling about the rest make me feel like I saw them all with you! Nice day!

Thank you so much Sherri. I wish I had your skills on this day. I could have gotten some really cool shots. That baby Mockingbird hung out in my yard for a couple days. I wish I would have had a camera. My phone is all I have. I would come in to get it and he would hop in the field out of sight again. Then I would go out and he would be back. Next time, I will be ready if I ever get lucky enough to see a baby taking it’s first flight again. I know you can appreciate the awe. Thanks for stopping by!

      • If you’re thinking about a camera, I’m loving my new Nikon Coolpix, and it was ridiculously affordable. Half the price of my last one and with better features. They are getting reasonable to own.

Thank you Sheri for the advice. I am looking into it, my daughter says the upgrade on my Iphone camera will be enough for me. We will find out next week. 🙂 I have friend who paid a good deal for a professional camera and uses her Iphone camera more. I know that sounds crazy, but her photos are amazing. I am by no means a professional. I just love capturing nature, as it inspires me.

      • Yes, I agree. Mine’s far from professional! It’s compact and carries enough features, zoom and pixels to pull off what I want to capture and be cheap and portable. 🙂
You are probably right that an iphone upgrade would work nicely.

    Such awesome day… 😀
Very well captured of rainbow… love it.

    • janineyork says:

Thank you Bams! Awesome is a perfect way to describe it. 🙂 Thanks, I was so happy just to get it before it disappeared. I wish I could take amazing photos like you, then I would really have some shots from this day. I am getting a camera and starting to practice. It is so cool to catch amazing moments in time like this. I see why you love it! 🙂

  4. That is an inspiring thought to an equally beautiful scene. Rainbows are bearers of great news.

Thank you so much. I am definitely an amateur photographer, and just happened to be in a perfect place to capture it. It was a beautiful day for me. I certainly hope great news is coming. 🙂

RAINBOWS!! 🙂 🙂 Wonderful picture and (as usual) wonderful Haiku!

Thanks doll! I was so lucky this day to have this many rare things to experience. I didn’t have my camera for the bird, or the lining. I loved that little mocking bird, after sitting in my yard afraid to fly for two days finally get his nerve and take flight. He still had a fuzzy head, he was so cute. 🙂

Thank you for bringing a beautiful rainbow to us across the globe. Here’s what Robert Motherwell said “Walk on a rainbow trail; walk on a trail of song, and all about you will be beauty. There is a way out of every dark mist, over a rainbow trail”.

    Many good wishes 🙂
