  1. In my experience, even in the aftermath of a brutal breakup, hope eventually prevails.

Yes, I know that you are right. It is funny how when you are in the carnage of the end of the relationship how you can barely remember it. Then slowly but surely it starts to creep back in. Hope rocks!

Three cheers for hope. And for me at least, the hurt from disappointment fades with time.

I hope your Monday is a good one Janine.

  5. Hope is the last to leave the body o soul

Thank you for the faith. I don’t have that yet, but at least I have the hope!

      • Time and distance will soften the hurt and sorrow. You are still young and very lovely. You have much to hope for, much to enjoy. I am sure of it.

So phenomenal of you to take the time to lift my spirits. Thank you for the kind words, they really do help. I know that time heals, it is just an excruciatingly slow passage of time for a while. It is why I want to write the more realistic fairytales of love. We should all be more careful with our choices, and not give ourselves so freely to love with just a “feeling” and some hope. Make our requirements more about compatibility and character, and less about first kisses and instant attraction. They are good, but not good enough, there needs to be so much more before we fall. I hope that I remember this the next time I have a first kiss. πŸ™‚

      • Smiling. It is so easy to say ‘I will not fall so easily and quickly again’. And then we ignore our own advice. Life is short – and we can spend forever seeking perfection. One should not compromise and yet one should enjoy the moments, even when they are likely to be fleeting. We regret what we never did more than what we have done.
I wish you happiness. It cannot be far away from such a haunting visage

I love feedback, please tell me what you think.
